Info
Hyderabad boasts a 400-year history, and is now called Hi-Tech City, The City of the Nizams (ancient Muslim rulers), and The City of Pearls. Hyderabad has a population of about 8.8 million people and is located in south central India.
Our team will be working at church youth centers, and coming alongside local pastors and churches for outreach & evangelism around the city. We hope to provide opportunities to work both in the city and some rural areas around Hyderabad — getting a taste of how children live and grow up here, and how we can be a part of discipling them over the long term.
Your free time may find you visiting many of the fabulous sites such as the Taj Mahal, the Charminar, the Golconda Fort, or the Salarjung Museum. Most importantly, you can look forward to seeing what God is doing in India through His people and being involved personally, to help transform lives for Him.
This project is for SITC alumni, urban workers, and those college aged urban youth.
